Black and White Darkroom Silver Prints and Color Archival
Digital Prints by Photographer Shawn Eaton. We take great
care to insure that our collectors and clients will be
satisfied, the prints you order will be of the utmost
quality. All photographs are shot with available
light, no flashes or studio lighting are used.

the online store link. You may order the print only, a
print mounted and matted or a print mounted matted and
framed. If you have in mind a different matting color or
frame style or color, please contact us and we can discuss
options together. Below are short descriptions of our
prints.

Black and White
Prints: Black and White prints are hand printed
archival Silver Gelatin Prints. Traditional 35mm and medium
format films are used as the medium. In the darkroom
traditional chemicals and papers are used to create
archival black and white silver gelatin prints. When you
order the photograph the photographer will then hand print
it. After a photograph has been printed they are dry
mounted to acid free foam board, matted with acid free
natural white matte (unless customer request other color)
and framed with gallery style frames (with glass). Only the
highest quality materials and frames are used to display
prints. A thorough chemical and washing process are used
for print archivability.
Color
Prints: Color prints are archival digital prints.
Traditional 35mm color slide and print film are used as the
medium. After developing color film, images are scanned
into digital files by use of film scanners. Images are not
manipulated, only contrast and brightness are adjusted.
High-end Epson printers are used, along with archival inks
and matte archival photographic art paper.
