Black And White Photography Pictures

How can I create more contrast in my photography in black and white?
I have a manual camera and I need to take shooting outdoors during the day .. the last time I did, the photos came out gray. I really want this contrast in my photos are the best f stops and shutter speeds to do.
Overexpose and under development is a means. Shutter speed and aperture ignore it. You can also use color filters on your lens some influence on the contrast. A filling of a dark yellow sky blue, for example. Assuming that you develop your own prints, you can also affect contrast by using filters with your enlarger. Opening and closing f only affect the exposure of the whole image, not the other, but on exposure and development will increase the contrast. Best is invest in a red filter, yellow, blue and green (even if it is b / w photograph) and have fun. The filter darken and lighten its opposite color is. A dark blue yellow filter (blocking wavelenths blue) and so on. You can email me / add me to your messenger to talkietoaster23@yahoo.com if you want to ask a few questions more.
